عد عضو مجلس المفوضية السابق صفاء الموسوي، اشراف مجلس الامن على الانتخابات المقبلة انتهاك للسيادة، مبينا ان الامم المتحدة لها حق المراقبة وليس الاشراف.

وقال الموسوي ان “الانتخابات التشريعية هي شان عراقي داخلي، ودستوريا الاشراف عليها عراقي فقط”.

واضاف انه “بالامكان للمنظمات الاممية المشاركة في الرقابة على الانتخابات الا ان الاشراف خرق للسيادة والدستور العراقي”، مبينا ان “القانون الدولي اتاح للامم المتحدة الاشراف اذا كان هناك تهديد للسلم الدولي وانتخابات العراق خالية من اي تهديد دولي”.

واوضح الموسوي ان “الحكومة مطالبة بالحفاظ على سيادة البلد ومنع اي اشراف اممي على الانتخابات”.
